I never even knew there was a restaurant here and I pass the back entrance a couple times a month lol. Anyway I found it on maps and figured we'd give it a try. So glad we did. There was 3 of us and we shared an appetizer of fried mushrooms and the captains platter. The mushrooms were a little salty but loved the tempura batter on them. The Chicken fingers were a bit overcooked but still tender and definitely not dry. The catfish was wonderful and the shrimp was star of the show. Hope to come back soon and try a hamburger with sweet potato waffle fries!

We stopped in on our way traveling through. Even though it was busy there was no reason for the service to be so slow. We were there an hour and 45 min. Lots of workers standing around. EVERYTHING TOOK FOREVER! My Salad was good. Pretzel pretty good. My husbands burger over Cooked. Hush puppies good. My Phillie cheesesteak didn’t have nearly enough meat and veggie. Appalling how long we waited and the amount of staff that moved like turtles !!

We like to stop in and enjoy music and a snack or dinner.. it was happy hr and around the bar it was full ..but plenty of tables... Great service, great steak salad, and jalapeno bacon BLT.. yummy!

We were headed back to Columbia, and passed by this little bar and grill. When we got there, we were the only customers which can sometimes be a little worrisome.. but thankfully, that just meant less of a wait. The food was delicious and the service was great!

My Husband and I first time trying this restaurant. Morgan was our server and she was the sweetest. It was very welcoming . We had the seafood dip for our appetizer(Delicious) I had the catfish platter and my husband had the catfish poboy(he enjoyed). We will definitely be returning costumers and we would highly recommend The Back Porch!☺️
