Absolutely incredible from start to finish, the duck was just divine and the sweet potato spaetzle was glorious. The perfect chewy texture to go with beautifully cooked duck with skin that cracks like glass. The specialty cocktail was a lovely accompaniment, and they definitely pour their drinks strong at frog Hollow! I got a bottle of rosè with it, and the wine that my waitress recommended was absolutely perfect! My boyfriend got the pork shoulder and it was so tender it practically fell apart when you touched it with your fork. And the Mac and cheese!!! Oh my god, I could eat nothing except that Mac and cheese for the rest of my life and I'd be perfectly happy. We counted roughly 12 layers of the most complex, creamy, and unique Mac and cheese I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. We finished our meal with the goat cheese cheesecake, and it was as incredible as everything else. The goat cheese added an incredibly appealing tanginess to the cheesecake that was perfectly balanced by the gorgeous pecans and the decadent compote topping. I truly don't have the words to describe how fantastic the experience and the food were, I genuinely wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. I've been told the other restaurants under the same owners are the same level of incredible and I plan to visit all of them..... But Frog Hollow will always hold a special place in my heart after such a wonderful birthday dinner.

This definitely is among my top restaurant in the Augusta area. Came for our second time during Valentine’s Day and both times we received amazing food and service. The cheesecake was made from scratch and I couldn’t help myself. The chef in the back has to be a master cause my duck was cooked to perfection. This is a high end restaurant and perfect for date night vibes.

Top notch! I had the scallops to start, ribeye for my main, and pudding for dessert. The scallops were perfect, the steak was melt in your mouth, the pudding was the cherry on-top. I sat at the bar and had great service. The music playlist was 👌🏼 Highly recommend. PSA pay cash, they charge 3% for CC

This would be our second or third time here and each time the food and service provided have been outstanding. The steaks, sides, appetizers and drinks are all prepared with care and attention to detail. Very nice quiet atmosphere, perfect for special dinners.

Yesterday we decided to celebrate a birthday at a restaurant that, according to reviews, is considered the best in the city. Unfortunately, I can’t say I was happy with our choice in the end. Do you know how the restaurant congratulates you on your birthday? It’s not a dessert or anything memorable — just a small note attached to the menu. Our table was placed right in a high-traffic area, with no sense of privacy or comfort. When I asked if we could move, we were offered two other tables… also in busy walkways. You might want to work with an interior designer to create a more comfortable and thoughtful atmosphere. The menu. The duck was well cooked, but overwhelmingly sweet — completely lacking balance for my taste. My husband’s dish came with a pile of fries alongside the steak. The steak itself was good, but the side felt like something from a fast-food place. It’s strange to pay $40 for a dish with that kind of presentation. The selection of main courses was quite limited: mostly meat, and only one fish option (halibut), which was also the most expensive item. I won’t be coming back, and unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place to others. Overall experience: 3/10.
