This was our first time going to the Living History Park and it was incredible to say the least. The park is definitely a hidden gem in the area, hidden by trees and shrubs you all most miss it if you are not looking for it. I have been to other parks such as this one in Virginia and it's a must see. All the participants are great and you can tell they love what they do. Our favorites were the blacksmith and the mill. 10/10 would highly recommend.

The park is clean and picturesque. Lots of old buildings and history, but all boarded up. You cannot access the inside of any of them it’s just the view of the exterior. The walking trail is not stroller or handicap friendly, lots of stairs. Cannot pull into the park at all with vehicle. No on site parking. There is a run down playground with parking in front of the park.

Beautiful place, we can't wait to go back during their next event. Also an excellent place to bring children to stretch out and enjoy nature, and there's even a play park right nextdoor.

I visited early in the morning and it was very peaceful. The grounds are well-maintained, and they utilized the space very effectively. I can see how this is very informative and educational, especially for the children. It's a great place to step back in time for a few minutes, or just to go and relax.

never again no designated parking even for handicap visitors There were demonstrations, etc. for the Fourth of July, but there was no schedule of when demonstrations would be very limited seating provided for the demonstrations or skits that they were putting on Everyone there had a bunch of kids so the kids were monopolizing the benches, not allowing for the elderly or disabled to be able to be seated anywhere without a schedule of events, you didn't know what you were doing or where you were going. There were a few buildings open like the blacksmith and things like that but because of the crowds you could not get in any of the buildings to see the demonstrations. overall, it was very disorganized and poorly planned
