Amazing museum. I became a member. They have prevented the Turkey from becoming extinct. What would Thanksgiving be without them. Seriously, they are committed to bringing outdoor sports to the young as well as disadvantaged youth. They teach responsible hunting and outdoor sportsmanship.

This was my second time visiting. I was a chaperone for my son's field trip both times. We made female turkey calls that we still use and learned many things. It was just as entertaining for me as the adult as it was for my son. We plan on going one weekend with our older daughter so she can experience it. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I drove 30 miles to take my grandson and disabled granddaughter to the Turkey Federation. The website indicated that they are open on Friday at 8:30 but the sign on the door said they are closed. I can't imagine that it would have taken much effort to correct the information on the website. Certainly not as much effort as it took to pack up the children and drive there.

Went to banquet in Cleveland ga prizes seemed to go to only sponsors tables spent almost 1000 dollars another couple were with us they had same experience been to probably 7 banquets in the past last one we will attend

We were on a road trip from out of town and stopped at the Turkey Federation to go to the museum. This was on a Friday at 9:15 am. They were CLOSED! A rather unfriendly woman answered the door and we told her we were from out of town and asked if we could take a minute to see the Native American artifacts. She said oh I’m sorry the museum is closed with a smirk and said hours are posted on door! We aren’t from Edgefield so it’s not like we could come by anytime! She had a small dog in her arms so she couldn’t have been working too hard! What harm would it have been for her to let us look at the Native American artifacts! We would not have been 10 minutes. We don’t understand how a museum that is only open 3 days a week-in the middle of the week-in a town as historic as Edgefield! Wow and please have someone more professional on site to answer the door! Not impressed at all with this place!
