I love this place, friends have taken me here a couple times. The crepes are delicious, the food is fresh and the staff are friendly and attentive. The cafe has front porch seating along with a side patio. Inside you feel at home, tables are set up in different room and the walls are covered in unique art and lots of green plants.

My friends and I came here for breakfast the morning of prom expecting a relaxed, sit-down meal, especially since we each spent over $20. Instead, we were rushed out in the most disrespectful way. As we were still finishing our coffee, the cashier came over, grabbed our cups without asking, and bluntly told us there was a line waiting for our table. It was incredibly rude and completely killed the experience. If you’re looking to actually sit, relax, and enjoy your food, don’t come here.

It is difficult to know where to begin with the compliments this restaurant deserves. Polo Grounds Café is, without question, the best brunch spot in Aiken. From the consistently delicious, high-quality food to the warm, inviting atmosphere, every visit is a positive experience. The café offers a unique and cozy setting that makes it an ideal place to relax and enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal. The menu is exceptional, with every item made using high-quality ingredients. Not only is the food flavorful, but it is also among the healthiest brunch options available in the area, making it well worth the price. There is a clear level of care and intention behind each dish, which truly sets this café apart from others. One standout feature for me personally is the coffee. This is the only place in Aiken where I can enjoy coffee without it upsetting my stomach, which speaks to both the quality and preparation. The attention to detail extends beyond the food and beverages and into the overall experience. It is worth noting that guests arriving after 1:30 p.m. are kindly asked to place their orders to go, as the café closes at 2:00 p.m. This is completely understandable, especially from the perspective of someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, and does not detract from the experience. Polo Grounds Café has become a trusted and regular brunch destination for my family and the only place I choose for coffee. It is a standout establishment with exceptional food, quality ingredients, and an atmosphere that keeps us coming back.

If you’re looking for great coffee and brunch, this place is IT. The atmosphere is cozy along with seating indoor and outdoor. The crepe and bagel were amazing, coming in larger portions. Staff were accommodating and friendly!!
