We went here for lunch. I ordered the quiche with a side of pasta salad. My wife the chicken salad sandwich and salad. Her’s also came with a side and she chose the apple cole slaw. The menu lists the quiche as “crust-less”. This may be but about 1/3 was a bottom layer that was some sort of bread. It tasted fine but not what I expected by the word “crust-less”. I would rather have had crust. All the other items were very good and prices were fair for what you get. My wife’s tossed salad was bigger than expected and looked very nice.

We visited the Village Bakery & Cafe for lunch and had the most pleasant experience. The atmosphere was cozy with that small town feel. The menu variety was absolutely impressive. We ordered the Fried Green Tomato Club with Pimento Cheese and the Monte Cristo Sandwich, which was the best decision. They also have a bakery attached where we ordered a couple of pastries to-go. Their coffee & specialty coffee menu was diverse, and we look forward to visiting again soon.

This place has the best food! The Sunday brunch is amazing, with both middle eastern and down home southern food. The shrimp and grits are so good!

My husband and I swung in on our way home from the Clemson spring game and I'm so glad we did. The coffee is fantastic and the Sunday buffet has restored my faith in buffet food. I wasn’t expecting dolmas, falafel, and hummus! The shrimp and grits were a standout, and we're both very particular about shrimp and grits. These can hold their own against Lowcountry cooking. The hummus was very flavorful, lots of tahini. The brownies were moist, the lemon bars actually had structural integrity, and the cannoli was perfect. We're definitely coming back.

We went here for the first time and was sadly disappointed with the biscuit and gravy, the biscuit is not a biscuit its thick toast, no where near as good as a good biscuit, the potatoes were deep fried and almost cold, could hardly bite into them, he gave us more but they were nasty too, the eggs I ordered were over medium, they gave me over hard, so he was bringing me over medium ones but talked to them and they said we didn't have to pay and left, too bad they had a new cook, should never serve food like that. They took a very long time to serve us and there was not a crowd.
